Ala-Too square to be reconstructed

Reconstruction of the central part of Ala-Too square in Bishkek will start on March 24, spokesperson of the Bishkek Mayor Oksana Filyuk informed the news agency “24.kg”.

Demounting of the stage and reconstruction of fountains will begin shortly. “For the first time in history of Kyrgyzstan there will be built a central light and music fountain, while other four fountains will be illuminated. Besides, new flowerbeds will be built. One of the flowerbeds will have a clock form with the clockwork device inside,” Filuyk said.

All reconstruction works are carried out at the expense of sponsors and directed to modernization of Bishkek. “The reconstruction will be finished by June 1-Children’s Day,” she added.
