Kurmanbek Bakiev the President of Kyrgyzstan takes part in the Bishkek Council’s session devoted to Bishkek development program 2009-2012.

The Country’s Renewal Course and the Development Strategy have been taken as a basis for the program to be implemented in 3.5 years. Its budget is estimated at 13,611 billion soms.

The project provides for Bishkek prosperity, forming of city infrastructure, meeting international standards. City authorities plan construction of new schools, kindergartens and other social objects including a museum and family practice centers.

The city council will also continue development of public transport and plans construction of road bridges, new transportation connection points, parkings and a traffic circle.

The council will also listen to the report of Nariman Tyuleev, the Bishkek city mayor.
