At least 90 percent of Bishkek roads are in poor condition, Nariman Tyuleev, the mayor of Bishkek told the press conference Tuesday.

According to him, 460 million soms were allocated for the road repairs in 2009. “We need almost 50 million soms for patching annually till all the roads will get capital repairs”, he said.

“About 140 Chinese buses and 25 garbage trucks will expectedly arrive in Bishkek in 2010”, the mayor added.
