About 50 New Year trees to be set up for New Year’s Day in Kyrgyzstan’s capital

About 50 New Year trees are planned to set up for New Year’s Day in the Kyrgyz capital. Vice Mayor of Bishkek Vyacheslav Krasienko stated at today’s press conference.
According to him, in 2011 the amount of green beauties on the streets of city will be doubled. 12-meter high tree (from Germany) will appear at Old Square, 25- meter high tree at Central Square. “Except for traditional places, we plan to put New Year trees in parks, public gardens, along central streets, near the Manas, Ala-Too, Octyabr cinemas, near big shopping centers and Street Children Rehabilitation Centers. 20 trees will be purchased at the expense of the Mayor’s Office. We attract businessmen as well, that is why we expect the capital will be well decorated for the holiday,” said Vyacheslav Krasienko.
“Besides, the city will be adorned with illuminations, 100 new LED stretchings on Manas, Chu avenues. The Bishkekglavarkhitektura designed the decoration of Central Square taking into account the elements of national patterns. In addition administrative buildings will also be decorated. We talked to the business objects owners about decoration of their property. If they respond to the call, the city will shine,” the Vice Mayor stressed.
