Kyrgyzstan produces large numbers of agricultural products in 2009

For the nine months of 2009 Kyrgyzstan has produced agricultural products at 83 billion 434.4 million soms, which is 5 percent more than in 2008, press service of the Agriculture, Water and Processing Industry Ministry reported.

Therewith in 2009, the growth in crop production reached 7 percent, in livestock farming – 2.1 percent. The highest growth is traced in Chui oblast – 9.7 percent, while in Batken and Jalalabad oblasts – 8.3 percent. In Naryn oblast the production rate decreased, as compared to 2008, and made 94 percent.
