Kyrgyzstan signs supply deal for 540MkWh with Kazakhstan

Kyrgyzstan has signed a deal with Kazakhstan on supply of 540 kWh to the republic in vegetative period, Daniyar Usenov, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan told the press conference Wednesday.

The total sum of the agreement comes to $20 million. Moreover, Kazakhstan plans to transfer the first half of the amount to Kyrgyzstan up to December 15 and the rest - by January 15. Usenov called the transaction “credit financing of our system in winter period.”
