At least € 2.4 million will be spent on implementation of a third phase of the Business Advisory Services (BAS) Programme in Kyrgyzstan, Gabriel Al-Salem, representative of the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) told the news agency 24.kg at the press-conference 12 March, 2010.

He said the program will help businessmen to employ consultants. “We have a list of experts most competent in different spheres. The distinguishing characteristic of the 3rd phase is that the privilege will be given to Talas, Naryn and Batken oblasts”, Gabriel Al-Salem explained.

Besides, the increase of grants from 50 to 75 percent will become a support for businessmen. “That is we to pay this percent to the consulting company for the services rendered to businessmen”, he said.
