In Kyrgyzstan, government procurement will be made through electronic trading from April 1, 2012 –Akylbek Zhaparov

“In Kyrgyzstan, government procurement will be made through electronic trading from April 1, 2012,” Minister of Finance Akylbek Zhaparov stated at today’s press conference.

According to him, 15 billion soms were spent on the government procurement in 2011. The sum will be less in 2012.

“We will bring all corruption schemes to naught. And every person who has an excess to the Internet will see what organization purchases and from whom, what extent and at what price, Minister said. The program will immideately issue the price of the commodity exchange and market.”

He noted that the scheme of pricing in public procurement is determined for the first time in 2012. “It is made up of the prices given by the manufacturer, transportation costs and profit margins of no more than 10 percent of income,” Akylbek Zhaparov explained.
