Gazprom will start privatization of Kyrgyzgas OJSC in August 2012 – Askarbek Shadiev

“Gazprom will start privatization of Kyrgyzgas OJSC in August 2012,” said Energy and Industry Minister Askarbek Shadiev during his today’s press tour.

According him, the OJSC evaluation plan has been signed between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. “After the concrete price evaluation privatization process will start. Gazprom will start oil mining on Kyrgyz territory. Therefore, we can provide our population with cheap fuel. Besides, will provide villages with gas at first place,” said the minister.

Recall, Gazprom is going to buy 75 per cent of Kyrgyzgas shares. The necessary economic justification for Mayli Suu-4 and Kugart has been prepared.
