"Kyrgyzstan is interested in increase of trade with Russia within programs on import substitution of food products," the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev said at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.
During the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the Prime Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Russia discussed further cooperation. Kyrgyz Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Russian government and its chairman "for their support in the Federal Assembly on the ratification of the package of documents on Kyrgyzstan's accession to the EEU."
The parties discussed implementation of projects on construction of Kambarata and Upper-Naryn HPP cascade in Kyrgyzstan.
Dmitry Medvedev noted that due to regular meetings of heads of states and governments of the two states the countries resolve arising issues in a timely manner.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan informed that within the programs of import substitution, the Kyrgyz party is ready to offer Russia agricultural products, knitwear and textiles, consumer goods. "I think we have good advantages," Temir Sariev concluded.
