"There should be no double standards in the matter of fight against terrorism," Russian President Vladimir Putin said today at a meeting of CSTO Collective Security Council.
According to him, it is necessary to unite the efforts of the international community against this threat. "We have to put aside the geopolitical ambitions, to abandon the so-called double standards, the policy of direct or indirect use of certain terrorist groups to achieve own tactical objectives, including change of unfavorable to someone governments and regimes," the head of the Russian Federation said. "Russia is offering legally binding guarantees of security and combating extremism and coup attempts in the Euro-Atlantic field. Tajikistan can count on support of the Russian Federation to counter attempts to destabilize the situation in the republic."
