The Collective Security Treaty Organization is making a special effort to create an efficient power system. The CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha told reporters today, Interfax says.
As it was reported, active phase of the exercises of CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces (CPF) Indestructible Brotherhood-2015 took place on Bagramyan military training area (65 km west of Yerevan).
"The exercises were very successful. Much has been done. Management of the Ministry of Defence of Armenia has taken serious measures to ensure and create the necessary conditions for the activities of peacekeeping troops," Nikolay Bordyuzha said at the end of the exercises.
According to him, against the background of what is happening in the world today, the Council of the CSTO along with heads of the member countries are making special efforts to establish an efficient power system.
He recalled that this year alone a number of serious measures aimed at the combat training of the Collective Forces of the CSTO have been held. In particular, in May there was unannounced inspection of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, exercises of special units of drug control agencies in Kyrgyzstan, meeting of heads of special units of the Interior Ministry in the territory of Kazakhstan.
"All of this is nothing more than a set of measures aimed at increasing the effectiveness of joint activities to ensure the security of our countries," Nikolay Bordyuzha stressed.
