Heads of EEU states in Kazakhstan will discuss international activities of union. Meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in a narrow format began in Borubay village.
It is expected that the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, Russia Vladimir Putin, Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will discuss the further development of integration processes in the union, the issues of international activities, strengthening of cooperation with other countries and integration structures. Following the meeting, it is planned to sign a document defining the main directions of economic development of the EEU in the nearest future.
This meeting will be the first for the KR where the country is represented as a full member of the Eurasian Economic Union. Kyrgyzstan joined the union on August 12.
