CIS ground is a good opportunity for dialogue on political, economic and humanitarian issues, for keeping close ties with the member-states- both multilaterally and bilaterally, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda said today at a meeting of CIS Heads of Government in the narrow.
"In this difficult period, when the international and regional security is going through difficult times, the threats and challenges of an economic nature are growing, Tajikistan is firmly heading on course to achieve the major identified strategic goals and improve economic growth in cooperation with foreign partners, and first of all - on the post-Soviet space," Kohir Rasulzoda said.
He added that a wide range of issues are on the agenda of today's meeting. "Tajikistan attaches great importance to the implementation of the Strategy of Economic Development of the Commonwealth, the Interstate program of innovation cooperation, cooperation in the field of environmental monitoring. I think consideration of matters related to the implementation of the Agreement on mutual recognition of privileges and guarantees to participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War, the further development of health and social care and improve the quality of life of veterans is very timely," the Prime Minister said.
"Amid the latest world trends on the active involvement of youth in various extremist and terrorist organizations, the work with youth, strengthening of spiritual and ideological component of youth policy is very important and relevant for us today," Kohir Rasulzoda summed up.
