Participants of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States, held in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), adopted a number of documents.
Heads of the Government approved the plans:
- on implementation of the 3rd stage of CIS Economic Development Strategy up to 2020;
- measures for 2016-2017 to implement the Strategy of International Youth Cooperation of the CIS states until 2020;
- activities for 2016-2018 on implementation of the Strategy of Development of Physical Culture and Sports up to 2020.
Also, there was approved the list of the pilot innovation projects of the Interstate Program of Cooperation of CIS till 2020. The participants of the meeting approved the main directions of further development of health and social care and improvement of quality of life of war veterans - participants of local conflicts and their families in CIS countries up to 2020, as well as a set of measures to promote and encourage the use of natural gas as a fuel for vehicles in CIS up to 2020.
In addition, the Heads of Government signed an agreement on the terms of inter-operator mutual payments in the provision of international telecommunication services in the states of the CIS. It was decided to establish an international training center for training, retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of production, transport, storage and use of natural gas as a motor fuel at the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin, as well as the basic organization of the Commonwealth on education in countering the legalization (laundering) of criminal incomes and financing of terrorism.
Council of Heads of Government for three years extended the term of office for the Deputy Head of the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center Marat Abdyraev (Kyrgyzstan).
The next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government is scheduled for May 27, 2016 in Bishkek.
