Head of Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry Sergei Lavrov arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Head of Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry (MFA) Sergei Lavrov arrived in Kyrgyzstan. In Bishkek He will discuss issues of regional cooperation, noted in MFA of Russia
It is said that the working trip of Sergei Lavrov is timed to 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations establishment between the two countries.
Earlier the Russian MFA representative Alexander Lukashevich informed journalists about planned meeting of Sergei Lavrov with President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and Kyrgyz MFA Head Ruslan Kapakbaev.
“On the agenda are issues of bilateral interaction in political, economic and humanitarian spheres. Actual dimensions of cooperation in framework of EEC (Eurasian Economic Council), SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) and CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization),” noted the Russian MFA representative.
It is said that Sergei Lavrov is going to visit Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and Russian Science and Culture Center.
From Bishkek Sergei Lavrov will go to Kazakhstan in order to take part in session of Foreign Affairs Ministers Council of CSTO and CIS countries.
