About 350 children have been killed on the roads of Kyrgyzstan over the last three years. At least 4,918 minors have been injured. The data was presented today at the parliamentary hearings "On the situation in the field of road safety."
According to the submitted information, over 1,400-1,500 road accidents involving children are registered all over the republic annually. As a result, in 2013 there were killed 142 children, in 2014 - 112 and in 2015 the number has reduced up to 96. The number of the injured children exceeds 1,600 annually.
In general, each year more than 7,000 road accidents occur in Kyrgyzstan, which kill more than a thousand people and injure more than 10,000.
