Kyrgyzstan marks the Day of Information and Press on November 7. The first edition of the first Kyrgyz newspaper Erkin-Too (now Kyrkyz Tuusu) was released on November 7, 1924. The Kyrgyz government established the holiday in 1993. Journalists as well as workers of radio, TV, printing houses, editions and book shops are going to celebrate the holiday this Saturday.

The news agency 24.kg wholeheartedly congratulates all media workers on their professional holiday and wishes peace, kindness and prosperity!
