At least 2,100 crimes registered in October 2009 in Kyrgyzstan

At least 2.1 thousand crimes were committed in Kyrgyzstan in October, 2009, the Kyrgyz Interior Ministry said.

“It is a 13.5 percent reduction comparing to September 2009. The total number of registered offences over ten months of 2009 reached 24,900 which exceeds rates of the same period in 2008 by one percent,” the report said.

In October 2009 the number of cattle rustling cases increased by 23.5 percent along with 24 percent rise in robbery.
