Catalytic Fund to grant Kyrgyz schools 103.5 thousand books

Schools of Batken, Naryn and Chui regions of Kyrgyzstan will get 103.5 thousand schoolbooks free of charge, public relations department of Education for everyone project reported.

At least 16 kinds of textbooks in Kyrgyz and Russian are aimed for home reading of students of 1-4 grades.

Over 229 Batken schools, 138 educational institutions of Naryn region and 322 Chui schools will receive the books as a part of Education for Everyone project (grant of the Catalytic Fund).

“The textbooks meet all modern school standards and designed by a group of expert practical teachers. They were officially approved by the Kyrgyz Education Academy and will be hand over to all school libraries of three regions,” the report said.
