Kyrgyzstan ranks 42 in “Failed States Index”

Avram Noam Chomsky is an American linguist, philosopher, scientist and political activist, he has announced most principal criterion on which the present Index is based: 1 - Widespread violation of human rights including failure to protect citizens from violence and provide essential services, such as health and est. 2 – the disposition of the government to operate above the law – both national and international. 3 – such a state suffers from democracy deficiency, including any widespread loss of popular confidence in state institutions and processes.

According to these criterion Uzbekistan was announced the most “failed state” in the Central Asia (38th spot). Ukraine was recognized as relatively stable state among post-Soviet countries (110th spot).

The most inferior position takes Georgia (33), Tajikistan (37), Kyrgyzstan (42), Azerbaijan (56) and Turkmenistan (59).

In turn, Moldova takes 54th place as the most unstable state of Europe, Belarus – 66 place, Armenia- 109, Kazakhstan – 105.
