The founder of one of the companies involved in the smuggling of fuels and lubricants from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan is a MP from the Ata-Zhurt faction Azamat Arapbayev. The head of the General Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kalybek Satybaldiyev reported yesterday.
According to him, 4 of 10 detained heavy trucks belong to the Danur Yug LLC, the founder of which is a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the KRG Azamat Arapbayev. “When our employee arrived in the LLC, there he was beaten by the deputy. At this time the militiaman is undergoing treatment. And the Osh regional prosecutor’s office investigates the incident,” said Kalybek Satybaldyiev.
He noted that earlier the head of the Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption of the Batken province was beaten by residents of the Lyailyak district during arrest of two heavy trucks with smuggled fuels and lubricants. “They accused him of taking a bribe of $800 thousand. An official investigation on the given fact is ongoing, but the applicant, who supposedly had given him money, didn’t show up,” added Kalybek Satybaldyiev.
