Protesters against pawnshops announced hunger strike in Kochkor Ata town

Protesters against pawnshops announced hunger strike in Kochkor Ata town. 24.kg news agency was informed about it by local youth human rights organization.

According them, there are about 300 pawnshops in the town. “They just use unemployment of local population and have benefits from it. They set up high per cents for loans and if people can’t pay they deprive loaner’s property. One woman have already died and other two are in reanimation. The people are on brink of despair,” report the human rights activists.

They add that the main culprit of the situation is Government which doesn’t provide them with job.
