In Kyrgyzstan, the Great Patriotic War veterans to receive KGS 10 K for Victory Day

In Kyrgyzstan, 55.5 thousand people will receive monetary compensation in return for benefits. The Spokesperson for the Kyrgyz Ministry of Social Development told 24.kg news agency.

Reportedly, 25 categories of social security beneficiaries are paid compensation every month. “The Great Patriotic War veterans, prisoners of concentration camps receive KGS 7 thousand every month, home front workers - KGS 2 thousand, families of dead servicemen – KGS 1 thousand. Besides, the Kyrgyz President’s life-long scholarships of KGS 3 thousand per month are given to the Great Patriotic War veterans regardless of category,” explained in the Spokesperson’s Office.

As noted, in honor of Victory Day the Great Patriotic War veterans, survivors of siege and prisoners of concentration camps will get KGS 10 thousand each; families of dead servicemen, home front workers and labor army participants – KGS 5 thousand each.
