Kyrgyzstan submitted two nominations for the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List - "The traditional equestrian game "Kok boru" and "The Art of Improvisation "Aytysh." Nomination "Aytysh. Aitys" is presented by the Kyrgyz Republic together with Kazakhstan. It is reported by the Secretariat of the National Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic for the International Organization.
According to it, the city of Windhoek (Namibia) hosts regular session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage on November 30 - December 4. Kyrgyzstan is represented by the head of the Cultural Research Center "Aigine" Gulnara Aitbaeva and an expert of the secretariat of the Kyrgyz National Commission on UNESCO Sabira Soltongeldieva.
Recall, Kyrgyzstan is a member of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2012-2016.
