3rd Human Rights Documentary Film Festival to run in Bishkek

Third International Human Rights Documentary Film festival will run in Bishkek on September 21-25. The festival is held by the human rights center Citizens Against Corruption in partnership with international festival One World in the Czech Republic, the Kyrgyz ombudsman’s institute and the Central Asian Culture and Art Network, organizers of the festival told the news agency 24.kg.

Seminar for human rights activists form Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia and a panel discussion with Kyrgyz, Central Asian and European filmmakers will take place as a part of the festival. The event will run for four days in Bishkek and then will move to Karakol and Naryn. About 10 films will be screened at the festival.

The second tour will be held on the route Osh-Isfana-Hudjent in October.

Moreover, the third international festival includes awarding of the best films for achievements in human rights protection and broadcasting.
