Bishkek to host Kyrgyz National Music Festival

Festival of Kyrgyz National Music Jybek Joldun Ak Konushu (White Nomadic Life on the Silk Road) will take place in the Bishkek Sports Palace of Kojomkul on December 1-2, the Swiss Cooperation Agency reported.

Kyrgyz Folklore-Ethnographic Theater Ordo-Sakhna holds a festival in the capacity of a report for the past decade of active work. For the past 10 yeast the theater had concerts in the U.S., France, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, Russia and Kazakhstan.

The festival aims to promote and preserve a unique Kyrgyz folklore music and pass it through generations.

The festival consists of the two concerts – Ak Konush (White Nomadic Life) to run on December 1 and Kaiberen (Nature protecting spirit) to run on December 2.
