Kyrgyz filmmaker Akjoltai Bekbolotov and cameraman Almaz Supataev will take part in the Berlinale Talent Campus in February 2010 in Germany, Gulbara Tolomusheva, assistant chair of the Kyrgyz cinematography union told 24.kg Monday.

The participants were selected from four thousand nominees. This is the first time in years when Kyrgyzstan sends two participants to the festival.

Note from the news agency 24.kg – Akjoltai Bekbolotov is known as the most successful young Kyrgyz filmmaker who awarded a Grand Prix of the Germany-France-Kyrgyzstan 2008 film festival in Bishkek and a prize of the ARTE channel in Dresden in April 2009.

Almaz Supataev – a gifted Kyrgyz cameraman was announced the best photography director by the Internews.kg contest Stremlenie – 2009.
