Kyrgyz poet joins Templar poetry society

Alexander McMillen, a well-known editor, has invited Turusbek Madylbai, an outstanding Kyrgyz poet, prose writer and translator, to join the Templar poetry society, the New literature of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Madylbai, who writes in Kyrgyz, Russian and English, submitted his collection of works Desert for competition in 2009. The writer has already become a laureate of international contests Russkaya Premiya and Dobraya Lira and was known as a Russian-language author.

Templar poetry is an independent publisher of excellent contemporary poetry in pamphlets, collections and anthologies, based in the heart of Derbyshire (Great Britain). Templar poetry annually holds Derwent Poetry Festival for modern poets writing in English.
