According to him, Kyrgyzstanis liked the investment instrument, introduced last year. Transactions on purchase and sale of gold bullions are held daily. At the same time, 100 gram bars are not sold now. They are out of stock. Smaller ingots, weighing 3,1035 grams, 10 grams, 5 grams, 2 grams and 1 gram, can be purchased so far.
"This year we plan to sell about 150 kg of gold. The first batch of bullions was 45 kg. Taking into account the additional issue, now there are about 76 kg of gold in circulation. Today, two commercial banks joined the new investment instrument. They will also buy and sell gold bullions," Tolkunbek Abdygulov said.
