Since 1996, Kyrgyzstan has implemented 40 road construction projects worth $2.4 billion, the Ministry of Transport and Roads reported.
The republic received $584 million from the Asian Development Bank, $359.6 million of which - loans.
The World Bank has allocated $134.8 million, including $87 million on credit.
Islamic Development Bank allocated $136.7 million, $122.47 million of them- in the form of credit.
Most of the money has been provided by the Export-Import Bank of China - $1, 103 billion. Funds have been granted for projects from 2009 to 2018. Repayment period is 20 years.
