International reserves of Kyrgyzstan at the end of October 2016 amounted to $ 1.9 billion. Such data was voiced today at a government meeting.
It is noted that since the beginning of the year the reserves have increased by $ 165.8 million, or 9.3 percent. The total volume of remittances by the population is also on rise this year.
- During the first 9 months of 2016, $ 1.4 billion have passed through the transfer systems, which is 15.4 percent higher than in 2015.
At least $ 259 million soms in form of remittances have been transferred from Kyrgyzstan, which is 0.9 percent less than in the last year. As a result, the net inflow of remittances increased by 19.6 percent. At the same time, Russia accounts for 97.4 percent of all remittances.
