The government of Kyrgyzstan will help the businesses with preferential loans, reduction in the number of licenses and the export of goods. The Minister of Economy Arzybek Kozhoshev outlined such priorities today at a meeting with businessmen.
He told that 700 million soms will be allocated in 2017 to support farmers. Half of the funds will be spent on livestock and crop production, and the second - on the processing sector.
If there are additional funds, they will be allocated for cheap loans for the garment industry.
"The Ministry of Economy submitted to the government the issue of subsidizing interest rates for export-oriented companies. Their list has already been drawn up at the instruction of the Prime Minister. At present, there are 300 companies," Arzybek Kozhoshev said.
He recalled that Kyrgyzstan has the most liberal tax legislation. However, he admitted that there are some shortcomings. The Ministry of Economy has once again developed a new version of the Tax Code exactly to correct them.
