"Some citizens can not find themselves in the voter lists during elections in Kyrgyzstan," Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Tayirbek Sarpashev told today at a press conference.
"For example, in Osh region a man wanted to vote at 3 polling stations, as he has written statement in three places. First he tried to find himself in the list in Baktilek district, then in Uzgen at Mirza-Ake polling station, and later checked himself in list of Mamazhan polling station in Kara-Suu town. That is, this man did not know where he was registered. As a result, he found himself in one of them. It turned out that some parties tried to persuade him to vote for them. I note we opened an information deck at each polling station and every person who has not found himself in the list can get the information at which polling station he or she is registered," Tayirbek Sarpashev said.
As Omurbek Abdyrakhmanov, the candidate from Ar-Namys party, told to reporters, he turned out to be in the list of voters in Naryn region. "Why is it happening? I have been voting in Bishkek for 20 years already and have passed biometric registration. What I have to do now? To go to Naryn? " he asked.
