At least 144 biometric equipment failures were registered on the Election Day, Republican headquarters for technical support informed.
According to it, the first biometric equipment for the identification of people was tested at the national level in August. Then 320 failures of equipment of various kinds were recorded. The second time a large-scale testing was carried out in September as part of a ten-day campaign "Check yourself in the list." In the last test the number of failures decreased to 205.
One of the complaints of local and international observers after the elections was technical failures.
