The European Union and the United States do not want to recognize the integration association on the post-Soviet space, which is the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Grigory Rapota said, TASS reports.
"We have to state the unwillingness to recognize the integration association on post-Soviet space by the EU and the U.S." he said.
The official noted that the EEU and the Union State as a basis for the integration system in the former Soviet Union proved its viability.
"History shows that all recurring contradictions find their resolution, which is a testament to the vitality of our organization," Grigory Rapota said.
He believes that the Europeans have missed an opportunity to create robust associations that would help to easily overcome the economic and political turmoil.
