Wealthy citizens support the Eurasian Union more often than the poor. Such conclusion was made by the experts of the Center for Integration Studies of the Eurasian Development Bank and the International Partnership "Eurasian Monitor."
It is noted that support from groups with high income in Kazakhstan and Belarus was 76 and 74 percent.
In Kyrgyzstan, the figures is even higher - 80 percent. The attitude of people with low income to the EEU is bit worse - it is supported by 79 percent.
Negatively to the EEU in Kyrgyzstan treat 5 percent of the rich and 12 percent of the poor.
More well-to-do groups of the population in the Kyrgyz Republic support the free movement of citizens within the EEU countries relatively often and in Kazakhstan, on the contrary, the poor.
