Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with a member of the Board for Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Comission Valery Koreshkov, the information support department of the Kyrgyz government reported.
Valery Koreshkov arrived in Kyrgyzstan to become familiar with the work done to improve the veterinary system of the country. The Prime Minister Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted that the Kyrgyz side had been making every effort to fulfill all the commitments.
"Visiting the veterinary laboratories in Bishkek and Chui region, I saw modern equipment and I am satisfied with the preliminary results of the modernization of veterinary laboratories," Valery Koreshkov said.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted the importance of the EEC position when considering the abolition of veterinary checks at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border and further joint and close cooperation of EEU member-states.
