The fall of the dollar exchange rate forced the National Bank to buy the currency again, its site informs.
It is noted that the National Bank bought $8.75 million with the calculations on the date of the transaction and $1.25 million - with calculations different from the transaction date. As a result, in September, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has bought $16.8 million on foreign exchange market.
However, the intervention hasn't given the results. The dollar is still kept at a low mark. Some exchange offices of the capital sell it for 67.8-67.9 soms. In most of exchange offices and commercial banks dollar is being bought for 67.6-67.8 soms, sold -for 67.9-68.1.
The nominal exchange rate is fixed at 68,1506 soms per $1.
