Welcome to “24.kg” News Agency Web Site!

Here, you can find many useful tools for work with information. Some of them are RSS feed, E-mail Newsletter posting and Read Later folder for later reading of the selected news. Here we explain how to use these convenient options.

Read Later

Perhaps you read the headline and want to read the whole article, but you do not have enough time to read it at the moment. We made it possible for you to transfer the news to the Read Later folder and read it later when you have time. 

Just click on "Read Later" link under headline of the article (picture 2, article 7). The article will transfer to the Read Later folder without reloading the page (figure 1, article 1), and “news transfer successful” will appear at the top of the page.

In order to read what you have put off, you have to go to www.24.kg from the same computer as you did when you selected the news and click on the Read Later link at the top of the page (figure 1, article 1).

Sign-up for Newsletter

You have to register(figure 1, article 3) if you want us to keep you posted on the latest news by sending newsletters on your e-mail. Registration process is very simple. After you have entered your name and e-mail address, a letter with your new password will be automatically sent on your e-mail.

Please log in when on our web site. At the top right corner (figure 1, article 4) enter your e-mail in the “login” field and your password in the next field. Click “OK”. 

To choose news categories you want to receive news from, click on “My Subscriptions” (figure 1, article 3). A list of news categories will appear. If you wish to receive a daily newsletter from all categories, check “all news briefs” box and click on “refresh” button. Now you will daily receive all the news from “24.kg” News Agency.

If you do not wish to receive newsletters, please go on www.24.kg web site, log in and click on “My Subscriptions” (figure 1, article 3). A list of categories will appear. Check off all category boxes and click on “refresh” button, after which you will not receive any newsletters from our web site.

RSS feed

A very convenient tool that allows receiving on-line news in real time mode. For that you need to install a special RSS-aggregator or you can use a standard up-to-date browser or mail client  . Web-aggregators collecting and reflecting RSS channels are also popular.

Please choose information channel you want to use on RSS page.

Pleasant Nothings

If you need to change text size on our web site, please use [-] to make text smaller and [+] to make text larger (figure 3). The text size change takes place momentarily, without having to reload the page. If you want to go back to standard (default) settings, please click on the link “text size” (figure 3).

Comment the News
You can comment any news. To do that, go to the web page of news article and scroll down to the bottom. It is also very easy to follow other people’s comments. Each news article has an index with the number of comments (figure 2, article 6).

Print News Article
You can print any news article on www.24.kg web site by clicking on “Printable version” at the top of the article. A new window will appear, excluding all graphics and leaving only text and a photograph related to the article, if there was one.
