Tragedy in Mediterranean Sea: 240 migrants died (video)

About 30 migrants survived in a shipwreck near the Libyan coast were brought to the island of Lampedusa. There almost simultaneously sunk two boats with migrants. By the time the rescuers reached the place of tragedy, almost 240 people have drowned, Euronews reported.
As noted, the people were in a state of shock. They are injured, because were in water, trying to swim, for several hours. They were found in the water, not on the boat.
"But still there are a lot of migrants, strongly willing to cross the sea, and smugglers, seeking to earn. And they put them on totally unsuitable for such voyages inflatable boats," channel said.
According to UN statistics, since the beginning of the year more than 4,200 people have died in the Mediterranean Sea. However, most of them die in Libyan territorial waters where ships of rescue workers from other countries can't sail in.
