A native of Kyrgyzstan Vadim Arsentiev injured at the fire of a hospital in Aleppo (Syria), the Russian media reported.
According to them, gunmen struck artillery attack on the Russian mobile hospital in Aleppo on December 5. As a result, two female medics killed. Another doctor - chief pediatrician of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vadim Arsentiev has severely mine-explosive wound to the chest, head and limbs.
Vadim Arsentiev was operated on a military base "Hmeymim" and then by charter flight brought to Moscow in the Burdenko hospital. In the intensive care unit he was assigned intensive therapy. The doctors are doing everything possible to save the pediatrician.
Vadim Arsentiev was born in Frunze in 1963. In 1980 he graduated from high school №6. In the same year he entered the Military Medical Academy.
Vadim Arsentiev - professor of the department of children's diseases of the Military Medical Academy named after Kirov. In Pediatrics he has been working for more than 30 years. He went to Aleppo to assist the injured and in need of help children. It wasn't his first trip to Syria.
Classmates of the doctor told 24.kg news agency, that his mother still lives in Bishkek,. He visited Kyrgyzstan this summer. They have preserved photos of the August meeting.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu ordered to provide all necessary assistance to the bereaved families and the injured.
