Yesterday in Turkey arrested Abdulgadir Masharipov - a native of Uzbekistan, who opened fire in a night club Reina in Istanbul and killed 39 people, Turkish media reported.
Suspect detained in Istanbul's Esenyurt district.
According to media reports, Masharipov's four year old son at the time of arrest was with him. A native of Kyrgyzstan, sheltering him, as well as three women from Egypt, Senegal and Somalia detained.
On New Year's night a gunman attacked visitors of nightclub Reina. He arrived in night on a taxi on Sunday and opened fire on the people, celebrating the New Year. Among the dead were foreigners. Dozens of people were injured.
Turkish authorities have called the attack a terrorist act.
Later, the responsibility for the attack took the extremist group Islamic State, which said that it was revenge for the actions of Turkey in Syria.
