Innovation Project Directorate presented Investment Exhibition project

Innovation Project Directorate under the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) presented the Investment Exhibition project, Dair Toktobaev, adviser to President of the KCCI said at the press conference on 9 February, 2010.

The aim, reportedly, of the project is in attracting of investments, realization of new perspective business-ideas and introduction of new technologies. Currently officials are carrying on negotiations with the Turkey and Moscow Chambers of Commerce and Industry, thus entering into cooperation between countries.

Dair Toktobaev explained that non-ferrous metallurgy and food industry where foreign investment makes about 50 per cent are the most attractive sectors for foreign investors.

There is no experience on drafting of good projects in Kyrgyzstan. According to this point Kyrgyz businessmen can gain an experience to draft business-plans with the help of a new project.

Moreover the project will provide a web-site for free registration and information search, Toktobaev said.
