Ministry of Interior: explosion caused fire at Kainda-Oil bulk plant petroleum depot

Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Interior specifies: the fire at Kainda-Oil bulk plant petroleum depot was caused by the explosion.

The Ministry informs that a petrol tanker exploded in one of boxes of the petroleum depot. The fire killed five workers of the tank farm and destroyed 4 cars.

According to the preliminary information, the bulk plant petroleum depot belongs to Kyrgyz-Russian joint company.

Currently, the scene is being examined. The Ministry of Interior noted that Panfilov District Department of Interior or the prosecutor’s office will be commissioned with holding investigation.
