Gangsters raid money exchange office in Bishkek

A group of gangsters broke into a money exchange office in the center of Bishkek Friday morning.

According to the police, three Asian-looking strangers broke into the exchange office at about 10 a.m. and took away $8,000 pointing a gun at an office’s worker.

“A policeman from a near-by detail tried and chased the robbers, but they drove away. The policeman also failed to write down the car’s license, as the plate was heavily mudded. The special investigation is now underway,” Ruslan Bektybaev, chief of the 7th city police department said.
