Relevant committee adopted in the third reading amendments to the Land Code, which exempts power companies from rents for areas with substations. This decision was made today at a meeting of the committee on fuel and energy complex and subsoil use.
Recall, the initiator of the bill is the deputy Kozhobek Ryspaev.
According to him, the state administrations, local governments provide land for rent. Distribution companies are forced to pay for it out from incoming funds. Consequently, this may affect the tariff increase. "Substations are constructed by the state, and rent for the land should be paid to the state as well. It turns out that we pay to ourselves," Kozhobek Ryspaev said to support his initiative.
