Daniyar Usenov nominated for prime minister’s post

Daniyar Usenov was nominated for the post of the prime minister in Kyrgyzstan.

National TV and Radio Corporation reported that political council of Ak Zhol party, headed by its leader, the President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiev, has gathered for a special session an hour after Igor Chudinov’s resignation.

The party members have discussed administration reform and candidacy for the prime minister’s post. The party’s political council came to a decision to propose Daniyar Usenov as a potential candidate.

Usenov graduated from the Frunze Polytechnic Institute in 1982. In 1992 he graduated from the Law Department of the Kyrgyz State University.
