A number of high-ranking officials have been released from their offices in Kyrgyzstan. Appropriate decrees have been signed by the President Kurmanbek Bakiev late Thursday and early Friday.

In particular, Nurlan Aitmurzaev, Chief of the government’s apparatus, Uktomkhan Abdullaeva, Vice Prime Minister and Sultan Raev, the Culture and Information Minister have been relieved of their duties.
