"Pakistan is interested in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the international arena," the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif states after negotiations with his counterpart from Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariev.
According to him, rich culture of Kyrgyzstan and the country's progress impressed the Pakistani delegation. The sides confirmed that the bilateral relations are based on mutual respect.
"We agreed to continue to improve contacts, develop relations in the sphere of tourism and energy, to consult on common challenges. We are interested in the potential of bilateral relations by improving infrastructure, construction of roads, progress on energy projects. CASA-1000 will soften the deficit of electricity in Pakistan," Nawaz Sharif notes.
"We are interested in development of relations in international forums. We will work with Kyrgyzstan under the reforms of the UN Security Council. This structure must take into account the aspirations of all the countries of the organization. The UN should pay attention to small countries, and not just listen to big states," he added.
